Juan Domingo Peron Shapes Modern Argentina

Juan Peron was one of the most influential leaders of Argentina. Peron became president in 1946 and he had many progressive changes during his time as President, but his changes failed to be long lasting. He was overthrown by the military in 1955. But this was not the end for Peron, he returned in 1973 and was elected president again. Peron's reforms had a great impact in Argentina, but unfortunately they didn't last due to the fact that they weren't radical enough for Argentina's people. Soon enough, great trade imbalance ensued and Argentina's economy went down the hole, leaving the country in a devestating state which Argentina has yet to fully recover from. (Legacy).
